About the event

Crisis Response & Intervention Training for First Responders | Free 40-hour CRIT Certification
The East Alabama Crisis Intervention Team is conducting a 40-hour CIT certification and training at the Opelika Police Department. This course certifies Alabama first responders as CIT Officers and provides valuable training on responding to crises and utilizing local treatment systems to enhance safety, improve outcomes, and inform disposition decisions.

These classes will be offered quarterly and are week-long courses. Please ensure you are able to attend the entire training week before registering. Registration links will be posted as they become available. Please call (334) 705-5232 for more information.

January 13th -17th, 2025

April 14th - 18th, 2025

July 14th - 18th, 2025

October 13th -17th, 2025
